Hello Bella Mente Leopards,

We hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Reminder, Thursday, October 20th is the end of the first quarter. Please remind students to complete all missing work and turn in to their teacher.

Also, clear any unexcused absences by completing an Independent Study! This will help scholars stay on track! Other benefits to completing an Independent Study:

  • Eliminate the absence from your scholar’s attendance record.
  • Allows scholars to have a 96% or above attendance rate which is required to participate in Bella Mente after school clubs.
  • Scholars can attend our Monthly Glow Stick Party!

Email to learn more. Attendance is key to a scholar’s success.

If you have a primary scholar, be sure they are present on Wednesday, October 19th so they can attend the Mad Science event themed “Fire and Ice!” This event is intended only for primary scholars.

Coming up this week at Bella Mente:

  • Coffee Mingle with Leadership, Thursday, October 20th, 8:30 am to 9:30 am
    • Location: Lower parking lot under the gazebo
  • Rubio’s DineOut 2pm-8pm 620 Hacienda Dr Vista, CA

Our Coffee Mingle event is open to all of our Leopard families. Coffee and pastries will be provided. Please bring your appetite and any questions you may have for our leadership team. See you there!

Leopard families, Red Ribbon week starts next Monday, October 24. The mission is to lead and support our Nation’s families and communities in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug free youth. For additional details, keep an eye out for our flyer!

Be sure to remind your scholar if they have lost sweaters, jackets, lunch boxes or water bottles to please check their classrooms and the lost and found located next to the MPR entrance. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the month.

We hope you enjoy all of the events taking place this month! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at (760) 621-8948 or email
