PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello Bella Mente Leopards,
Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Reminder, Monday, October 10th is a school day. During drop-off Mr. Anthony will have some tunes jamming to help get your day started! Plus during recess, scholars are encouraged to stop by the MPR entrance where Mr. Anthony will be playing music. Leave him a song suggestion so he can play your favorite song!
Coming up this week at Bella Mente:
- Movie Under the Stars event, Friday, October 14th, @ 6:30pm
- Movie will start when the sun goes down. This week’s feature film will be Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.
Our Movie under the Stars takes place out on the turf field at night so be sure to bring a cozy seat and blanket so that you are comfortable and warm. Also, bring a friend! This event is open to the public. The more the merrier!
Please note that any time your scholar is absent, we encourage you to have your student complete an Independent Study. This will help scholars not fall behind! Here are other benefits to completing an Independent Study:
- Eliminate the absence from your scholar’s attendance record.
- Allows scholars to have a 96% or above attendance rate which is required to participate in Bella Mente’s after school clubs.
- Attend our Monthly Glow Stick Party!
Attendance is key to a scholar’s success here at Bella Mente. Please be sure to keep an eye out for future events and programs on our school’s Monthly Event Calendar.
Leopard families, be on the lookout for our 2nd Annual Bella Leopards Read-A-Thon. We are bringing it back! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We encourage everyone to participate, especially our reluctant readers. There will be tons of fun rewards during the two week event. The Bella Leopards Read-A-Thon will start Monday, October 17th through 28th. Be on the lookout for more details to come.
