Week 37: 05/31 – 06/04/2021

Dear Bella Mente Families,

Almost there! We are planning graduation for our Kindergartners and 8th Graders! It is amazing to me that our Kindergarten students will be our graduating seniors in the year 2033!! The graduating year for our 8th Graders will be 2025!! When I think of these dates I feel like I’m in a futuristic science fiction movie. Whatever happens, we continue to travel around the sun!

For those families who will be attending graduation at Bella this year, please check your email for the times, tickets, and parking passes. We will be following local health guidelines. Please bring your patience and kindness as it will be a little different than a typical year, but so much better than a drive-thru graduation! Thank goodness for lower COVID-19 numbers!

As a reminder, Thursday, June 10th, and Friday, June 11, will be virtual minimum days for our scholars. If you would like to attend a virtual Parent/Teacher conference, please be on the lookout for a signup from your scholar’s teacher.

For our scholars who will be attending Bella next year, we will be allowing them to keep their school Chromebook over the summer to work on our learning programs. Clever programs will be available during the summer. Your scholar’s teacher will be sending a recommendation of how many minutes your child should complete each week. There will also be information posted on our website. Continuing the learning throughout the summer will be extremely important for your child to be prepared for the 2021/22 school year. Our IT helpdesk will be available via email over the summer: helpdesk@bellamentecharter.org.

One more reminder! Save the date, Sneak Peek on August 12th for the 2021/22 Bella Mente school year.

Reminder -Masks stay on until June 15th!

Dates to remember for next week:
Tuesday, June 8th, Bella Mente Board Meeting
Thursday, June 10th, is a virtual minimum day
Friday, June 11th, is a virtual minimum day and last day of school

As always, we at Bella want to thank you for your trust, patience, and kindness as we work together to make this a great year for all!

Enjoy and stay safe and healthy!
