Week 11: 10/26 – 10/30/2020

Dear Bella Mente Families,

Mr. Hank’s Cooking it Up Parent Workshop was wonderful. The frittata he made looked delicious. I am sure the families who cooked along with Mr. Hank had a great meal.

Thursday saw red shirts supporting Red Ribbon week in Zoom Meetings. The Bella Spirit is still strong with distance learning. November 19th is Country Western Day; I am looking forward to seeing all of your western wear.

Thank you to all the parents who attended parent-teacher conferences. The teachers love to talk to parents about how their child is doing in class. Any time you have a question, please reach out to your student’s teacher. They are available to answer your question via email. You don’t need to wait for the next conference.

November has some holidays coming up. November 11th is Veteran’s Day; no school. Fall break begins November 20th thru 27th.

As always, we at Bella want to thank you for your trust, patience, and kindness as we work together to make this a great year for all!

Enjoy your weekend and stay safe and healthy!

“The child who has never learned to work by himself, to set goals for his own acts, or to be the master of his own force of will is recognizable in the adult who lets others guide his will and feels a constant need for the approval of others.”   Maria Montessori

Montessori Musing

Maria Montessori believed in adaptation and changing with the times. At any time in our lives could it be more important to adapt than now? In the Montessori practical life lessons, children learn skills that help and enrich their lives. They learn the simple skills that keep their life running smoothly. Could any skill be more relevant now, than the care of your computer? In this lesson, you and your child will learn how to care for your computer.
