The Leader In Me is a program that Bella Mente is proud to bring to our staff and students in 2019-20. Leader in Me (LiM) is an evidence-based, comprehensive-school improvement model—developed in partnership with educators—that empowers students with the leadership and life skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. Students and staff will participate in daily meetings where they will discuss leadership characteristics and develop personal goals for improvement. One parent shared their experience with the program by stating, “We cannot begin to describe the difference employing the characteristics of strong leadership have made with our two daughters. They are learning traits and habits that will not only help them at the school setting, but will carry with them throughout their lives. We wholeheartedly believe in this approach to education and see it as a critical component that bridges the gap between home and school.” – Ryan and Juley Sexton, Parents
