COVID Reopening Letter #5 9/25

Dear Bella Mente Parents,

This school year has brought many unknowns and challenges. Thank you very much for your patience as we navigate through the first months of classes. Not only are our students engaged, but so are you, and we appreciate your input and support. Together, we will make it through this health crisis and school year. And in that spirit of collaboration, I want to provide an update regarding the school year.

We remain in a distance learning mode through the first Semester. As a reminder, the Board approved Semester 2 as a potential reopen date to onsite learning. If circumstances change between now and then that makes a safe decision clearer before Semester 2, we will let you know.

This year, due to the pandemic and closures, schools created a Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan instead of the LCAP. Attached to this email is the final draft of our Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan, which outlines how we will ensure our students will continue to receive a rigorous academic program during the COVID-19 crisis in the 2020–21 school year.

Please review and email any further suggestions to info@bellamentecharter.org. This draft will be approved at a Special Board Meeting, Tuesday, September 29, 4 p.m. You can attend the meeting via: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2263759611530188814 or by calling 415-655-0060, Access Code 959-198-915

You may also send comments to the Board of Directors at board@bellamentecharter.org.

We appreciate the input and feedback w

e received from so many parents and stakeholders, which was incorporated in the attached draft. Again, thank you for your patience and partnership during this time of distance learning.

Sincerely,

Erin Feeley, Executive Director
