BMA The Next Two Weeks :: BMA las próximas dos semanas

Dear Bella Mente Families,

Well, the end of the school year is almost here, and we all survived.  The Bella Mente Community has shown such strength and grace during this difficult time. The staff appreciates how understanding our families have been during this new territory of learning. Here is some crucial information on happenings over the last two weeks of school.

Chromebook Returns

Chromebook returns June 4th and 5th by the last name of the student. Please be sure to wear a mask.
If your student’s last name begins with:

• A – F: Returns 9 am to 11 am on Thursday, June 4th
• G – L: Returns 1 pm to 3 pm on Thursday, June 4th
• M – S: Returns 9 am to 11 am on Friday, June 5th
• T – Z: Returns 1 pm to 3 pm on Friday, June 5th

Retrieval of Students Personal Belongings

• Primary – 1 pm to 2 pm Wednesday, June 10th
• Lower Elementary – 2 pm to 3:30 pm Wednesday, June 10th
• Upper Elementary – 9 am to 10 am on Thursday, June 11th
• Middle School – 11 am to 12 pm on Thursday, June 11th

Both of these will be a drive-thru event. We will set-up stations to assist you while you stay in your car, similar to the Chromebook pick-up. Please make sure to be wearing your face mask.

Your students’ teachers will be at the belongings pick-up to wave goodbye for the summer. San Diego Department of Health regulations still prohibits students and parents from being on the campus. 

Promotion Ceremonies-Kindergarten and 8th Grades

While it may not look exactly like the promotion ceremonies you envisioned at the beginning of the year, we are excited to have you join us on Friday, June 12, 2020 for our Drive-thru Ceremonies. 

8th Grade

Friday, June 12th at 9:30 AM will be our 8th-grade drive-thru graduation ceremony where we send our BMA students off to High School, the last step before adulthood. 

Kindergarten

On Friday, June 12th, starting at 12:00 PM will be our Kindergarten drive-thru graduation ceremony. We are excited to congratulate our Kindergartners’ promotion to first grade.

The Drive-Thru times are as follows:

• 12:00 Ms. Jessica’s Class
• 12:30 Ms. Jennifer’s Class
• 1:00 Ms. Lili’s Class
• 1:30 Ms. Kristen’s Class
• 2:00 Ms. Carol’s Class

All Promotion Ceremonies

You are welcome to decorate your vehicle, with signs and banners with your graduate name and our school colors. Please enter at our Emerald Entrance South of West Drive and follow the signs.

We are required to observe the rules provided by the City of Vista and San Diego County Health Orders. 

Please note: Occupants must stay in the car, no loud music, horn honking, no restroom access, no stopping or sitting in vehicles around the school campus, no spectators and only family members in the vehicle.  Please 1 car per graduate/family. Please do not linger in the surrounding neighborhoods after the ceremony. 

BMA is so proud of how hard all of our students have worked since this new learning model began. We hope everyone has a safe summer, and we look forward to the 2020/2021 School year to start on August 18th. We will update parents when we receive the final notification on how the school will resume classes in August.

Estimadas familias de Bella Mente

Devoluciones de los Chromebook

Los Chromebooks deben de ser regresados el 4 y 5 de Junio, la hora de regreso depende del apellido del alumno. Por favor, asegúrese de usar una máscara.

Si el apellido de su estudiante comienza con :

• A – F:  Regresa de 9 am a 11 am el jueves 4 de junio
• G – L:  Regresa de 1 pm a 3 pm el jueves 4 de junio
• M – S:  Regresa de 9 a.m. a 11 a.m. el viernes 5 de junio
• T – Z:   Regresa de 1 pm a 3 pm el viernes 5 de junio 

Recuperación de pertenencias personales de los estudiantes

Ambos serán un evento drive-thru. Configuraremos estaciones para ayudarlo mientras permanece en su automóvil, de manera similar a la recogida de los Chromebooks. Asegúrate de llevar tu máscara facial.

Los maestros de sus alumnos estarán en la recogida de sus pertenencias para despedirse del verano. Las regulaciones del Departamento de Salud de San Diego todavía prohíben a los estudiantes y padres de familia estar en el campus.

Ceremonias de promoción- Kindergarten  y Octavo grado

Si bien puede que no se vea exactamente como las ceremonias de promoción que imaginó a principios de año, nos complace que se una a nosotros el viernes 12 de junio de 2020 para nuestras Ceremonias Drive-thru.

Octavo grado

El viernes 12 de junio a las 9:30 a. M. Será nuestra ceremonia de graduación de 8º grado, donde enviaremos a nuestros estudiantes de BMA a la escuela secundaria, el último paso antes de la edad adulta.

Kindergarten

El viernes 12 de junio, a partir de las 12:00 PM, será nuestra ceremonia de graduación de Kindergarten. Nos complace felicitar a nuestros alumnos de Kindergarten que pasan a  Primer grado.

La hora de las ceremonias  son los siguientes:

Nota para todas las Ceremonias de Promoción

Puede decorar su vehículo, con letreros y pancartas con el  nombre de graduado y los colores de nuestra escuela. Ingrese en nuestra entrada por la calle  Emerald  desde la highway 78 y  siga las indicaciones.

Estamos obligados a observar las reglas provistas por la Ciudad de Vista y las Órdenes de Salud del Condado de San Diego.

Tenga en cuenta que los ocupantes deben permanecer en el automóvil en todo momento, usando el cinturón de seguridad en todo momento, sin música alta, sin tocar la  bocina, sin acceso al baño, sin detenerse o sentarse en vehículos alrededor del campus de la escuela, sin espectadores y solo miembros de la familia en el vehículo. Por favor 1 auto por graduado / familia. Por favor no se quede en los vecindarios aledaños después de la ceremonia.

BMA está muy orgullosa de lo duro que todos nuestros estudiantes han trabajado desde que comenzó este nuevo modelo de aprendizaje. Esperamos que todos tengan un verano seguro, y esperamos que el año escolar 2020/2021 comience el 18 de agosto. Actualizaremos a los padres cuando recibamos la notificación final sobre cómo la escuela reanudará las clases en agosto.
