He spent this past summer in Boulder, Colorado, studying the Montessori approach to teaching elementary, and he will be certified to teach both Lower and Upper Elementary in a Montessori setting after this year. Kyle loves how Montessori provides an opportunity for children to develop their whole selves, and doesn’t put limits on what learning looks like.
Kyle is an outdoor enthusiast who loves surfing, hiking, and traveling. His students also know that he loves listening to all kinds of different music, and tries to bring music into the classroom as much as possible! On the weekends, you can find him playing with his dog, Bandit, and following his interests, most likely in a very nerdy way. Kyle can’t wait for another great year with his students, because Upper El is simply the best!
